So close, So far

by BraveHeart   Feb 1, 2007

In the depths of winter's heart,
Night was set for light to part,
A kiss to remind me of a past
I thought a dream can live and last
All the snow upon the trees,
Showed the sadness inside of me.
Love was lost to winter's hands,
With the snow across the lands,
I hold that night deep inside,
Into my heart it will hide,
I can't forget the moment we had,
even if it makes me sad,
Time will slowly mend the pain,
So only the good one will remain,
But the good ends where starts the bad
memorized in my heart or on my pad...
a lot of questions that make me blue
and who can answer is only you...
I wonder why you knocked my door,
if you are not ready anymore!...
Revenge? Mistake? I don't care,
But your answer was not fair...
I think there's no one to blame,
another girl plays the same game...
they say we learn from our mistakes,
endure the hope and keep the faith...
I lost it when you left the car...
I was so close and you were so far....
