Lonely

I'm lost and confused
alone in this place
but still i keep on fighting
to find a loving embrace
i'm hurt and slipping away
and no one seems to see
what there years of rejection
has slowly done to me
maybe someday i will actually live
and everyone will know
no matter what they try to do
i refuse to be alone
