The Joyous Pain Of My Heart

by Chris Loeffler   Feb 2, 2007

As I sit alone in the shadows in pain,

I feel the sharp pain or heartbreak like in my eye was a piece of glass as small as a grain.

The light is fading and the pain is taking over,

I force myself to take this sober.

This is real and its all because of you,

I cant believe you could be so untrue.

I never knew you would make me this blue,

I never knew your loyalties were so untrue.

But now I know how you are,

We truely have grow very far.

But you stabbed my heart untill it bled,

And for you more than a single tear i know i have shed.

So I retreat again into the shadows alone,

And burn the place that once held my throne.
