Time of Isolation

by Jess   Feb 2, 2007

The time of isolation has come upon me.
I don't know how long it will last.
The darkness obstructs me so that I cannot see.
I must do what I am meant to do which is relive the past.
So much emptiness.
So much pain.
There was always a void within me of nothingness.
And now I must follow the path that is lain.
Must I live isolated forever?
To bear the pain that has been born for centuries by my bloodline?
Must I live in my loneliness and pay retribution for the pain the generations before me inflicted?
Must I pay for actions committed that were not mine?
But it seems that retribution must come to those that my bloodline has conflicted.
The time of isolation has ascended.
With a final vow I swear that justice will not lack.
Into Isolation I have now descended.
Never to look back.
