4th

by Jeremy B   Feb 3, 2007

In the sky, explosions burst forth *boom*. Reds, blues, greens. All my dreams lite up the sky before us now. Look up at the falling star and make a wish. A wish that we shall be happy together tonight. As we lie on out backs in the cool grass that has become our bed, such Heaven we share right now. In the background I can hear the soft lapping of the waves against the shore of the crystal lake. And you, the same, can hear the soft beating of my hearth as you lie your head across my chest. Fingers enter twined as each other's hand is held. The twinkling of the stars resembles the beauty of the twinkling I see as i stare deep into your comforting and sympathetic eyes. On the eve of the day of celebration for independence do we celebrate the independence we share on this anniversary just as special and important in the hearts of you and me.

Now that's the kind of poem I like to to read. The way you expressed the feelings.
The happiness of that night and the togetherness, it's all very sweet.
I really liked the whole *BOOM* part. lol!!
    Good job
