I know I always say
It just a lil too late.
But baby, please accept me,
This can't be our fate.

It doesn't matter how many
Rainy clouds fill the sky,
More tears fall every night
Just from my eyes.

Even though I miss you
So much, you're not here.
You're so far away,
Yet your presence is so near.

I wish I could start us over,
Go back to where we begun.
Redo everything the right way,
Start us over at square one.

    I thought that this was such a sweet poem about a lost love. i could feel the grief in the tone and the word choice.
