I can kinda relate..
I liked how it flowed too.
I especially liked this part; 'I see you and I hear you laugh
I know you'll help me through
But no matter what my pain may bring
I hope I'll still have you '

but I was kind of confused
because one part is saying that he barely notices you
and then you say you hope he'll always be there
but the way you made it sound like he wasnt there for you anyway
