Wishing on a Moon

by AshleexAstonished   Feb 3, 2007

I wish that this moment would never end,
I wish the hours would stop forever from passing by,
Because once the hours go by,
I'll never be able to see you again.
We sit together under this full moon,
Romanticizing about what'll be tomorrow,
We look at each other eyes to eyes,
And face to face wondering what'll be left,
For us tomorrow when say goodbye tonight.
I can only hold you tight at this very moment,
But I can't hold on to you in my arms forever,
When morning comes we'll have to say our goodbye,
I don't want to let go but what choice do I have?
What choice do you have?
Maybe tomorrow we'll be together again,
Or maybe in another life we'll meet again,
We might fall in love all over again,
By then our memories of tonight will forever be lost,
But our hearts will meet again,
And we'll love again.
We'll once again stand under the full moon,
Wishing for a better ending,
We'll hope for an even happier ending,
And a happier life together under the shining stars.
For now we can only sit under the full moon tonight,
Wishing for the night to never ends,
Because once it ends,
We'll have to let go of everything we have at this loving moment,
And all our memories will forever be lost in time.
