Reassurance

by Tarna Peach   Feb 4, 2007

Tell me the truth.
I don't want a lie.
No words meant to soothe,
They'll only make me cry.

When you say you miss me,
Do you truley mean it?
No fabrications here,
For I have surely seen it.

"I think about you every day."
Were the words that rolled off your lips.
On and on you say, "Everything will be ok
Life has it's pot-holes and dips."

Please don't lie to me,
I don't want to hurt anymore.
I feel that your love,
Is what I've always longed for.

The way you are amazes me,
Calm, caring, and passionate,
and as funny as can be.

Tell me I'm everything you've ever dreamed of,
Tell me you'll never leave.
Because here without you,
The thought I can't conceive.

But I'll never be without you,
Even in life after death.
You're so amazing,
You always steal my breath.

My heart has never been so happy.
Yours is just so pure.
Sweet and innocent as a dove,
You make me feel so secure.

Please say you'll never leave.
I know you'd never be untrue.
Then all is as percieved,
I'm in love, that's true.
