Its getting easier

It's starting to get easier,
now 6 months have gone by.
there's not so many tears now,
just the occasional cry.

i feel i need you reach you,
need to see your face.
just one last hug,
but you've already left this place.

For 5 years we were apart,
and now forever more.
i just wanna be together again,
wish you'd walk through my front door.

But the pain is slowly lifting,
and I'm starting to understand.
god needed someone very special,
