You don't have to take it

by Tom   Feb 5, 2007

I pass you on the street and our eyes meet
You look so sad why do you just accept the defeat

Your black eye can stll be seen even with the makeup
You look in pretty bad shape like you've been hit by a dump truck

You can get out of this try and not be scared
Call your mom or dad maybe a hotline somebody's always there

He is just a coward a nothing who can't take on a real man
I will help you if you let me if I am there he will not take a stand

You are a beautiful young woman who deserves so much more
You can do this you can leave him just walk out the door

Id say this poem is about a 4/5 of course i voted 5 anyway.. i do for everybody .. :) .. it was a good write with some good word choices.. however there were some rhymes that seemed forced.. sometimes its hard to find rhyming words that fit in the poem.. the thesaurus is my best friend.. it helps A LOT!
