The Agonizing Silence.... It Kills

by Stacey   Feb 5, 2007

The darkness took over,

the pain, the intense pain, increased.

The thickness of the air stole our breaths.

And the silence hurt our ears.

We were falling into a bleakness so strong,

its sadness was like a stab to the gut.

Falling, tumbling, the light slowly diminishing.

Then we were suffocating in a water like sheet.

The silence grew stronger and stronger.

A pressure started growing,

bringing pain to our chests.

And then, suddenly... it was gone.

Only the silence remained,

the agonizing silence.

Which in the end lead our minds to thinking, imagining,

seeing horrible things.

There was no peace,

it just went on and on,

no merciful break from the agonizing silence.

The agonizing silence that was in our minds - killing us.
