Traveling to Circadia

by Shane   Feb 5, 2007

Hiding softly indoors for the snow to settle,
The flurry varying its intensity,
I witness the harvest whither
It hasn't snowed for years, I know

Patience purchased a house for me
And there I wait
Indulged by your smile
While the season takes it away

Though every accomplishment, feat, and success
May soon be forgotten
And every memory flowing freely through time
Like grains of sand,

I still marvel the flowers thriving that way
On such a cold winter day

And I lean or rather rise
To leave this place
Knowing well the distance between our lips
Closing the gap, ending the storm

I admire the man
Who anticipates the season
Instead of wishing
To control the weather

I'll walk with you in any direction
And reject that love dies,
With you I've a predilection
And feel safest in
The warmth of your eyes
