Solace In Solitude

by Briana   Feb 5, 2007

The rush of a waterfall
The stillness of the air
The power of competition

At the droplets of rain pelt the ground
I am filled with awareness
You have been there
The position in which I lay
Sprawled out across the floor
A fragile shell of my former self

The bellow of silence
The quiet of clamor
The unsettlement of paradox

Witholding all aspirations
But they're vivid
Showcased in open space
Transforming nothing
Into something worthwhile
I am uplifted
