February

by The Undoing   Feb 5, 2007

February, treat me pretty, treat me nice

My love is your virtue, not my vice

Take me out, show me the town

Show me my smile, not your frown

This Valentines, treat me right

Take me out, then spend the night

But buy no gifts, spend no money

Because I love you, and you know it honey.

That's a promise, one I'll keep

Truer than the ocean is deep.

The cold won't break us, hold me close

As you slowly reveal, the red, red rose.

We stare into the stars, high above our head

Their pretty light illuminates the rose so red.

The month ends too soon, days missing out

But February love makes me shout.

February kinda symbolizes me here. This was written by me (a guy) for my lovely lady...but sort of from her perspective? I think you will understand - I am her February!

Awww. I thought that this poem was sweet. I Loved the Februrary reference. & even if you wouldn't have said anything, I would have figured it out that february wasn't just significant of a month but a person.

    great! 5/5
