Cry

Cry,
I can not, for my tears have dried.
A heart can only take so much pain.
Now I lay here,
I await death, return to over come me.

Pain,
I no longer show,
But for the blank expression upon my face.
I lower my eyes till life can lift them.
I await a smile that will never come.

Tears,
That stain my face, mark my pain.
No one can save my lifeless body,
Relieved of my pain.
My heart, unbroken, for now it no longer beats.

Will,
Drained form my lifeless body.
Left me to drown in all that remains, my sorrow.
I fall, and continue falling,
Into the darkness, the empty space in my heart.

Silence,
Surrounds me.
