For love so never hurt the world
for love so never was twisted and curled
but love began to grow
but people began not to show
how they felt for one another
how they used to love like sister and brother
I pray to God please help us here
I see though much help is needed everwhere
the world has gotten cold and mean
the world has forgotten how to lean
on the ones they love and trust
on the ones that they truly must
help us God see the ways
help us before the last of our days
for love has grown so small
for our greed has taken all
all our feelings away from us
all our joys, now we just fuss
is there no hope for us?
is there no help? you must
