Still not knowing the reason "why?"

Everyday she felt so bad
hiding the feeling she had
she just can't let go
of the emotions she once showed

Everyday she kept on trying
to stop pretending and end the lying
to forget about the boy
the constant reason why she's crying

she was happy before
as if she can never be sad anymore
but eventually things didn't work out
making her heart want to fall out

Years passed by
but still she believes in her lies
when will the truth prevail?
of her pain that never fails

Each day that she lives
never gives her relief
it just makes her remember
of the world she wished she never entered

she started to hate herself
for loving this guy
sleepless night she cries
still not knowing the reason "why?"
