A blessing

I never thought I could feel like this,
and now the time has come ,
So I am thanking you dear lord,
for this blessing from above .

I never had someone love me,
as much as Joe does now,
As long ago as we met each other,
I still overlooked him some how.

I know I have found my soul mate,
he's been here all along ,
But the day I noticed him,
in my dreams he turned around .

I use to only see him,
in a distance from behind,
Now that I finally have him
if I lost him i'd lose my mind.

He's everything in the world to me,
he's ever answered prayer,
To give him up for anything,
in my lifetime I wouldn't dare.
