Have you ever fallen in love with your best friend but you can't tell them because you're afraid of their reaction or that it might ruin your friendship? We've been friends forever
Right by each other's side
Every time I was in trouble
You'd be there with advice
I've always been considered
"One of the guys"
Which was fine with me,
Until I looked into your eyes
I felt something different
Something I've never felt before
It was a love like no other
And all I wanted was to be yours
Day by day I watched
As new girls came through
I saw you fall for them
But none would catch you
It killed me inside
To watch them break your heart
Because I knew if I had you
We'd never come apart
I'd be the one to catch you
No matter how hard you might fall
I'd give you anything in this world
My heart, my soul, my all
I know it might not happen
But I'm willing to try
Even if it takes forever
Even if you make me cry
If I died today,
Without telling you how I feel
I don't deserve to live
Because my love for you is real
