Silent Tears

Silent tears

Silent tears begin to flow
As my heart begins to break
I feel it yearning for you
And it's more than I can take
You said you could heal it
And make it like new
But why put faith in guys
When they don't know what to do

Silent tears are screaming now
Down each side of my face
My heart's crying out for something
To fill up this empty space
Nothing seems to be working
And I have no idea why
So I'll just sit here with my broken heart
Until these silent tears run dry

Out of nowhere I heard a voice
Saying everything's gonna be ok
I've never heard this voice before
So, I listened to what he had to say
He said, "My child why are you crying?
Don't worry about what they say
I've already done the deed
So you don't have to feel this way
I gave my life upon a cross
Nailed by my hands and feet
So you could live without this pain
And your heart will feel complete"

Silent tears have stopped
Along with all the pain
I almost lost my mind
Until I called upon his name
Jesus picked me up
With a tight and warm embrace
My fragile heart's been saved
By God's amazing grace

I really enjoy a poem where it is written like a story and you can actually feel as if you've learnt something by the end of it, and you've fullfilled that want for me.

"You said you could heal it
    And make it like new
But why put faith in guys
When they don't know what to do"

Just have to point out, how typical of guys not ever knowing what to do =)

    Take Care,
    Peace
