A cloudless night

by Magnus   Feb 8, 2007

On a cloudless night, like tonight
The Moon reveals it's true form
It's not as full as it would like
A chunk of it is taken away

The memories it brings, is surely real
The memories I thought, had died away
Looking back, I can only see
Happiness, I wish would stay

The love for you, I thought had gone
This cloudless night, tells me I'm wrong
I hate you so much, for bringing me up
Only to tell me, I wasn't the one

I think of you, all the time
I think of you, and wish you were mine
I guess I've known, how lonley it is
Staying in the sky, a reflection on the lake

The reflection is, oh so near
But it's not complete, and it never will
Reaching out, I can only cause
Ripples in the water, that breaks the glow

It has been so long, so long indeed
Your tenderness, still lies within
I wish you happiness, to live your life
Not like mine, it's filled with sadness

On a cloudless night, like tonight
I pray that you, are in my arms
The love for you, forever there
Like the moon, on a cloudless night.
