Circle Of Life

The wheel starts turning
to the beat or the drum
this is when you begin learning
about this world and what will come

The next part flies bye
gone in the wind
the years are thrown up into the sky
and your world falls into a spin

Then comes the judgment
that hits you like cement but what is meant?
you feel like you've been torn
and now your soul is strangely bent

It takes years to recover
but then you find a lover
and that's when you realize
she is unlike any other

the years hurl you forward again
now you look like all of the other old men
but you still have your love...
or at least could have been

if not for the accident
it was on that road she had almost crossed
after receiving the letter that had been sent
you felt entirely lost

finally your days grow short
your eyes glazed from the years
now life will abort
and more people shall shed tears
