Tell me to wait by the window..

by Heidi   Feb 9, 2007

The problems that haunt you,
cause you to run away again.
You hide from your problems,
Afraid to face the world today.
You wait by the window,
Watching the rain softly pour.
As you think about your pain,
Asking god, how much more.
The feelings erase your smile,
The tears slightly erase the pain.
You highly doubt yourself,
And no longer feel the same.

So, tomorrow, tell me to wait by the window for you.

Your insanity is running low again,
The fake smile now useless.
You'd rather sleep than work,
cause your life is such a mess.
The songs are the only things that matter,
Friendships lost - who cares?
As long as you're able to cry,
That's the only thing that's fair.
You'd no longer wait by the window,
cause the amazing guy is no longer around.
He's not looking for you anymore,
So you're not making a sound.

So, tomorrow, i won't wait by the window for you.

He slowly tip-toed away,
Realizing you were so sad.
He didn't have the courage,
You thought that he had.
Rescue me, you silently asked,
As he smiled, his gorgeous smile.
Thinking it was all coming back again,
And you'd be happy for a while.
With each passing minute,
You attempt to erase him from your head.
You don't care about the lost memories anymore,
Sometimes, you'd rather be dead.
