Little girl

by DarkJem   Feb 9, 2007

This is a poem about a shy little girl that we once knew
A tiny child with long fair hair and glowing bright eyes
This small girl was our friend, we tried but not hard enough
As each year went by she lost everything she had ever known
When she was younger she was bullied each time her glasses cracked
Yet she was strong and stood tall, we all thought she was brave. But we were wrong.
The little girl had had enough she came to me and said I wish I was dead.
She stood there crying out her little eyes, me and you were stunned.
We had no idea what to do. There was nothing we could do.
She carried on, but she hated school.
Every time we saw her. We saw her glinting eyes.
We tried to help we really did. We even told our mum.
Though when she confronted her, she giggled and said we lied.
So we were grounded and spent all day in doors.
We heard that little girl crying in our room.
Tomorrow was another day the happiest we thought
Tomorrow would be her birthday, that little girl of six.
