Why do we seem to go round and round?
It sure spins me out - yeah this I've found...
We seem to play these silly little games
Where the end result would be abusing names...
That's in the 'normal' world, now welcome to mine
I don't play control dramas - I mess around with time...
You write me lines that make my heart sing
I wish with my soul we could truly begin...
Maybe one day, you will see and feel I'm true
But perhaps you just can't see - beyond you...
Frustrating you can surely be, your walls are so high
Your cards so tight to your chest, will you ever learn to fly?

Still there's something about you, I've no wish to let go...
You've heard it all before - yeah you already know...
I've no wish to control you, I love you the way you are...
To me you're beautiful - yeah you shine like a star...

Can't you feel my energy - loving and glowing?
What the future may hold there's no way of knowing...
I know what I'd like, but then that's just me...
But I'd really love to see you - complete and free...
I know that you know just what I mean...
I'm talking about the 'you' that could be so clean.
You know that I love you - it goes without saying...
But I have to re-evaluate the price I'm paying.
Should I just withdraw from your chaotic life?
The very thought though runs me through like a knife.
I wish I'd the strength to pull you from your black hole...
But it's up to you now to learn to love your own soul...
