Grace and Blood [poem]

by Miss Megan   Feb 9, 2007

**PUBLISHED**

To hold such a feeling so deep inside,
Your thoughts and treasures now standing alone.
Your life crumbling down; it all sacrificed,
Blind to many secrets you should have known.
To see such a terror in your own mind,
Suffering slowly in your hallow past.
You are able to see but not to find,
Carelessly letting your breath go at last.
Drowning yourself in your own misery,
Draining perfect happiness from it all.
You tell me to go but not to leave,
So I smile and watch you helplessly fall.
I would have never guessed it intertwined,
You stand before me; Grace and Blood combined.
