Scars

As u explored my body today i was amazed at how you reacted towards my scars.
You kissed each one as if they would magically disappear.
If only you knew how deep those scars were really imprinted in my skin would you have known that not even the softest lips or the silkiest touch would rid all the pain that is so implanted beneath the surface.
It's as though my tears shed for you..left a mark that could never be erased.
It's a wonder how beneath all those scars..is a pounding heart still waiting for you to not only release all the hurt, but begin the process of healing what's left of me.
As you left today...
you left another scar to add to my collection only this time you left not only me, but a remainder of **you**
It's now that i realize these scars are permanent...just like the love i have for you!
