IT'S YOUR FAULT

by katrina   Feb 10, 2007

I will frame my heart in solid steel.
I won't let my heart want to feel.
I won't look back at the shattered mould.
I will not give it up for you to hold.
I refuse to yield cos I know that's weak.
I'll never plead for what you seek.
If I get hurt it's shame on me.
I will build up walls just to be free.

It's your fault.
NOT my fault.
And it's your fault,
you're to blame.
It's your fault...
I'LL NEVER BE THE SAME
It's your fault.

And after all you put me through,
you told me what I should start to do.
So break it down and say the truth.
Don't tell me that you were not rude.
You mouthed it off to all my friends.
I've had enough and it has to end.
So it's back to you for all you've done.
Enjoy the junk that you have won.

It's your fault.
Not my fault.
And it's your fault....
You're to blame.
It's your fault..
I'll never be the same.
It's your fault.

A great support net that you were.
You broke me down until I hurt.
I took your crap for long enough.
You think you're good but you're not so tough.
I will shut them out, I won't let you in.
In your stupid game you'll always win.
Take your crap and leave the town.
How dare you try to shut me down..
IT'S YOUR FAULT

    I LOVED this.
The anger behind the words are clear for all to see, and I sense a lot of emotion went into this.
I thought the flow was very good and I enjoyed the rhyme scheme.
    Excellent work.
