As I sit here
Looking out my window
I wonder where you are
The one to rescue me
From all harm
To take me to a place
Where everyone's equal
No matter the race
To hold me close
So I'll be okay
Someone to get me out of the rain
I suppose right now
Your thinking of me too
Maybe it's I don't quite know you
But I hope someday
You'll turn my rain into a tranquil fall
The sun will come out
And everything will seem wonderful
For now I sit here
Looking out my window
Wondering when we will meet
