Thank You

You taught me not to hide
In you I can confide
You taught me how to laugh
How to smile
And you understood me all that while
Even when you saw me cry
You alway knew how to dry
Every tear away
So my troubles would not stay
You tell me I'm an angel from above
And you tell me that I have your love
You tell me you would die for me
So that I could live on and see
What the world could really be
But how could I live without you by my side
It wouldn't be honest if I lied
To say my life would be better without you
This would be false not true
You are such a good friend
I will always believe this to the end
For you I will always have to thank
And for every time my heart sank
When you told me I was yours to thank
You told me things I didn't know
For these things I learned how to grow
Thank you for everything
Thank you for making my heart sing
Thank you for the love you bring
