Listen to my Words

by Levi   Feb 11, 2007

If everyone would stop and listen,
You would understand my vision.
Read the pages and see my word,
Of the voice that has been unheard.
To share the gift that I've been given,
Through the skill of imaginative rhythm.
Search for the answers waiting to be found,
And pick yourself and others off the ground.
Dont accept what you've been born into,
Strive to make yourself into something new.
Become better than anyone ever thought,
Cause then you can say you 'have' fought.
Don't let the tragedy of life get you down,
Cause its not even worth the pointless frown.
Don't give up and make the World a better place,
Just make sure you have your own thinking space.
Stand up and raise your fist to the revolution,
And do whatever it takes to make a solution.
All you people with dreams in your heads,
Wake up and make them a reality to comprehend.
My thoughts may not be the clearest of them all,
But you've got to understand and heed my call.
The World doesn't owe you so don't owe it,
Make something of your life and use every bit.
Don't waste your time and say you can't be bothered,
Cause in the end you'll wish you listened to what you heard.
Make a change to make a difference,
Take a stand and have some confidence.
You can do it just give it a try,
Before it's to late and you die...
