My Friend the Razor

by Romancing the Darker Side   Feb 11, 2007

My little old friend
A bit useless since we last met
I tried to keep you out of sight
So my friends at school wouldn't fret

He's coming home tonight
And all the pain comes sweeping back
I need you to penetrate
To make up for what I lack

You smoothness touches me
It embraces my coldest smile
I look at the few scars
And wallow in pain for a while

I lie to all my friends
To them it's just a cat bite
I would never slit my arms
Not even out of spite

But they don't know the real truth
I keep hinting at the point
They know all the stories
I would never disappoint

And so my friend, lovely razor
You bring me such joy
I haven't even thought about
What there is to enjoy

Ok, so the only reason i gave this a four si because im not crazy about the last stanza, i know it seems like a stupid reason, but (in my opinion) it wasn't the best way to end this poem. but other than that... i luv the vocab you used, and if flows so well, good job!!
