The gallows with its moaning rope full of memories
fights for judgment
But what good will it do him in hell?
He was a boy full of confusion
but no one would listen to his silent screams
and now another mother will mourn her lost child
Trodden on by many, remembered by few

Damn this is good. The repetition worked very well and the story told was gripping and sad. The situations you used to show emotion and appeal to readers were well chosen. Another great piece.

I liked it but I felt that the flow was off a little. The word choice was good and the format was ok. I gave it a 5/5.

I'm not usually a fan of non rhyming poems, but you managed to pull this one of beautifully...the imagery was wonderfully created and the repetition hits the reader hard..beautiful job on this.

Wow, this is one of the best poem I've read today.
The imagery is stunning, and every stanza is deeply beautiful.
I like the repetition of the last line in every stanza, it adds great effect to the piece.
The second stanza is my favorite.
