Love or Die

Her love killed him
So she killed herself
Together they walk
In an openly deadly flame

A chill wind brushes her shoulders
As he tries to comfort her
He lies and says they are alive
Whilst she knows they are not

The darkness engulfs them
And they try to save each other
But life has already been lost
And they turn to suicidal images

Dead trees and wilted flowers await
Lost beauty and sense accompany
This agony and pain is now over
As they drift upon dreams

She is freezing
He is melting
They are at opposite ends of life
As he is drawn back into a deadly vortex

She awakes with a jolt, startled
Her dreams leave her shaken
But her love shall not rest
She shall love or die
As it is her destiny
