Dark Dispair

by Struggling Artist   Feb 14, 2007

Black blood on red ink
spilling, pouring, drizzled
in my darkest dispair,
towering over my soul
like the beast that
lives within me,
screams and cries,
scratches on the
walls of His house,
Darkness overcomes
the body without
chance to escape,
pleading, wishing, begging
for forgiveness,
suddenly, light
bracing wings of wax
melting against the Son
