Filled Seams

by Marcus   Feb 15, 2007

Hatred isn't an intentional outcome but a common solution for the seams of friendship

Stitch by stitch, sewing a bond of life and an uncommon rip

Through moments of laughter and an inevitable itching pain

For treacherous times of loneliness, silted with droplets of ongoing rain

Those cloudy days bear down on the soul's heartily grins and frowns

But no, these beings will never seep down to the bowels of hated bounds

Running with a soul that wants you in their life

Hoping they won't be executed through life's unforgiving knife

We stand here strong from their revolving gleam of cheerfulness and hope

When you stand together in a united bond that sews together better than any rope

Pains, Joys, and life's unforgiving moments that sweep away from the planes of time

Through eyes of one's elderly reframes, and their short lived days of engraved prime

Defy great measurements of an impatient trance of dreams?

For life's comrades are dotingly there to fill those porous seams
