The Light & the girl

There was a light.
It was there for her.
It helped her through the summer,
and it was there during school.
Then one day
She turned her back on the light.
And the light wondered why.
So when the light asked
She continued to walk away.
So even now the light ponders,
why would she betray
something that was so good.
