Nothing to Say

There is nothing left for me to say
That will make you change your mind
No words can keep you here
And keep me from being left behind

So I am not going to say anything
But, instead, I will let my heart speak
I will open it up, and close my lips
Just so that you will believe

I will hold my arms open
Wide enough to hold you tight
Then I will lay my head on your chest

I will let my emotions crack
And allow tears to stream down my face
To prove that through all of this time
You are the one memory I cannot erase

My body will tremble as I lay
Beside you, all night long
I will intertwine my hand with yours
To show this is where we belong

I will look into your eyes so deep
And take you away for a while
You will see how much you brighten my day
Each time my mouth curves into a smile

The tilt of my head allows you to know
I am watching you in awe
The redness in my cheeks when you look at me
Will prove my only flaw

I will not use my lips to speak
But to prove my love is real
