Until you see the light

by UM   Apr 5, 2004

You only hear what you want to hear,
You only see what you want to see.
Your stubbornness overtakes you,
So you block your friends out.
Why won't you listen to those you trust in?
We see the other side,
We know what it's about.
Your view is distorted,
Your vision is blurry.
But hey, it isn't mine,
It's your damn life story.
So block us out,
And do what you want.
We'll still be there in the shadows and corners,
Silently supporting,
Until you see the light.
Which will end the dark and dreary night.
