How could you take your love away from me,
After all those years was I not good enough?
I hated you for making me so sad,
My tears were like a waterfall- constant,
Day in and day out never tears of joy,
So much pain I didn't want to wake up,
But alas I awoke daily,
And everyday I did it got better,
I never thought I could find another,
It seems fate has a way of tricking you,
All of those years I thought I was in love,
Then I found him and found out what love really was,
Now I can truly say I am happy,
I found true love and he loves me,
He'll never know what he did for my heart,
Once broken now restored by this prince,
A fairytale now ready to come to an end,
Since my prince kissed my lips and I can live again
