Graduation Poem

<Center>

Sprinting through life so fast
Rarely taking the time to smile
Now I leave
Thank you both for making it worthwhile

All the advice and all the prayers
You have spoken to me more than you know
As I leave I take you with me
To this world your love and wisdom I will show

The times we've shared and the places we've been
The people we've met and the things we did
All locked away in a vault full of memories
Thanks to you I'm a very blessed kid

Thank you for teaching me to love and hope
For picking me up when I fall down
The confidence I have is because of you
You give me the courage to leave this town

Now I make a journey. A journey I am prepared to make
This place is big and this place is cold
But your example will be my guiding light
Change the world...can I be that bold?

The values you've instilled will not be forgotten
I will turn away from greed and lust
Instead you teach me to look to the One who never fails
You've shown me in whom to place my trust

There is not a day that goes by that I am not grateful
That's why today makes me so sad
Really there is only one thing left to say
I love you Mom and Dad
