Distant murmurs
from my past
i have
tried to bury them.
buried but not forgotten.
silenced but ever looming.

eternal ghosts.
looming,
waiting,
to haunt me
with my misery
and self-loathing...

leave me!
give me silence...
give me freedom!
stay,
remain,
in your pit
of hopelessness
i have
long buried
and forgotten.
