Watching You

by Bex   Feb 16, 2007

Neat cuts won't make you feel any better
Just seem to make you cry wetter
The deeper the knife slices your heart
Come on you must have known this from the start

You can see the lines of tears streaming down your face
You know the familiar taste
The blood is getting colder
You're getting older
And one more piece of you dies

Selling you soul for lust
Come on cant you see the disgust
The pain you bring
Just something to sing
To keep you from slitting your wrists

I want to be the last one
To watch you fall asleep
I try to be here when you wake
But I canâ??t give what you take

Loneliness doesn't have to be on you door
Except you welcome, you think it's a cure?
Why don't you want to belong?
What holds you back so strong?
