We'll make it through

by HollywoodSmile   Feb 17, 2007

This is a poem for two voices

They took revenge
They traded our trust for nothing more than dust
They didn't shed a tear
We scowled
We cried
We screamed in pain
And yet they didn't hear
We fought
They taught us how to cry
They dint worry about our painful cries
They burned all happiness from our lives
They erased our faith
And left nothing more than tears
If you think about the destruction and fear
Then you'll see exactly what we mean
They left us witness of a tragedy and in pain of much more
We had no idea
They kept it secret
In the back of their minds it was stored
Together
We'll
Try
To
Make
It
Through
And
Try
To
Live
The
Same
Life
We
Lived
Before
