There once was a young girl
She was beautiful with her blue eyes and her blond curl
She had her friends and she got along with the guys
Then that's when she started her lies
See there was a girl she knew and she didn't like
But she knew all her secrets even that she liked Mike
He was a popular guy with good looks
He had a way with the ladies his pick up lines were like bait hooks
She was upset that Mike didn't like her
And she got even more angry when she heard the story about the fire and the fur
That girl she so didn't like she had to ruin and make her name nothing
She would hurt and start fights with all her cussing
Bus somehow the blame was on the one she hated
She had to wear her name down so she wouldn't even be rated
She pushed too far and the girl was empty and broken
She had taken everything from her she couldn't bare to lose another token
The girl was hurt and alone
When she reached home she took the phone's dial tone
With white pills and a clear substance
She wanted to be gone with no disappearance
Hands shaking with pain or maybe fear
She took the pill while down her face rolled a tear
She felt cold, broken, and alone
Mike tried to call but couldn't get through on the phone
He went to her home
He needed to work on his project over Rome
She tole him to come on in the night before
But by the time he got there he couldn't believe what he saw on the floor
Her motionless, cold, and pale
He ran to her she felt so frail
Trying to rush to call nine-one-one
But he couldn't more his legs they felt like they weighted a ton
The fear in his eyes looking at her laying there
He was going to tell her tonight about his love and care
They carried her away
And Mike was left alone with nothing to say
He sat on the floor as a tear rolled away from his eye
He sat alone hoping she wouldn't die
He remembered the last thing she said
Now he was thinking about how she could be dead
He gathered himself together and got in the car
The hospital was around the block not that far
Pushing his door open to get out
He felt so much pain and inside lingered the doubt
The doors slid open for entrance
He stopped for a second to watch the people move in a planned trance
A doctor walked by
He felt the words come out did she die
The doctor gave him another glance
He walked to him swiftly as if to be in a dance
I'm sorry son I can't tell you that right now
But I do need some answers please tell me how
I don't know escaped the words
His stomach felt like it was going to go upward
Please just tell me how she is
I love her sir I really love Liz
I'm sorry son she didn't make it
He was so hurt and angry about to throw a fit
She was gone when she got here
His mouth continued to move but he couldn't hear anything and down rolled another tear
A few days later he wore all black
The pain inside him cut sharp like a tack
A single rose her favorite flower
His mouth felt all slimy and sour
His job to say a few words for her that day
He sat for hours trying to find the words to say
More tears filled his eyes
And he wanted to understand all the lies
He watched her lowered away
And slowly pulled on his shirts frey
Smells the rose one last time
Listens to the music's soft sweet rhyme
Goodbye my love his lips motion
The smell of the flowers in the air reminds him of her lotion
He's left standing alone by her grave
And the air blows with one last wave
A service that he attended
A broken heart that needs to be mended
Tears were there when she did that crime
Tears were there when he found her at that time
Tears were there when her life was taken away
And tears were there on that dreadful day
