The Woman who let it fall

The woman who let it fall
By Immortal Kitty

A drop of water hits the sea
Its story is one that is hidden
By drops of rain
And the woman who let it fall

The tear had been holding back
For some time kept inside
Tempted to fall with the rain
But never aloud to appear

It knows the sorrow of
The woman who let it fall
Who told not one soul
The pain she felt each day

As she made her way through life
Yet no one knew
The man who made her tears well up
But never let them fall

The bruise upon her cheek was there
But caused not by the fall
And the tears the came did not
Kiss the wound they stayed inside

Even when the pain was great
She held her ground
Her only solace was not
Letting the tears hit the ground

He made her suffer every day
Till she could not take any more
She had to make him pay
So she could let her tears hit the floor

His blood was on her hands
And her pain was unleashed
As she sat upon the ledge
She let her tears roll free

She spread her arms and began to pray
She leaped into the air to fly
Yet she did not have the wings
Yet her soul went up as her body went down
