Still Haunting

by David Rethoret   Feb 18, 2007

I can't believe this,
Your memory still haunts me.
The shine of your eyes in the night,
The smell of your perfume plagueing me.
After all this time,
Won't you leave me alone?
Let me live in peace,
Or die slowly of this poison you left.
I still feel your lips,
And your soft skin on my cheek.
This thought of you brings lonliness,
The curse you placed on my heart.
I lived without you,
Or so i thought,
This hollow life without my one.
How can I go on living knowing I'll never see you again?
I love you now as ever.
How could i ever stop?
You made my life and soon destroyed it.
This world is not worth facing,
without your sweet embrace.
