Secrets untold

by Silence   Feb 19, 2007

Behind these hazel eyes
Lye cold dark secrets of pain and lies
A secret that is never to be told
Because it’s to hurtful dark and cold

The secret holder that you see
Is far to pretty for you to believe
That a heart so young pure and true
Can hide such a secret that’s hurtful to you

But a soul like you could never know
The secret that this young girl holds
Because it’s the only way that she knows
To let go of her pain and not let it show

She wants to trust them enough
To just tell someone before she blows up
But no one will ever understand the hurt
Because all of her friends treat her like dirt

So again this beautiful creature
Continues to be the ultimate secret keeper
She knows that she can never begin
To try and explain it someone
When they will never understand.
