My Place

by Samantha   Feb 19, 2007

Far away from all the land
From anything anyone has ever known
Is a little place inside my head
That i can call my own
My parents can never reach me there
Neither can my friends
Its where my imaginations path
Tends to twist and bend
It flows along a course so true
The ride is smooth as glass
Visions of true friends and happiness
Say hello as i pass
Its an easy trip i take sometimes
Every now and then
When the world gets tough and friends tell lies
And my life just seems to spin
I go there to escape my life
And all the pain it causes
There are no rumors spreading there
No deaths or true friend losses
It’s not much there in my mind
But i feel at home
With all the hugs and comfort there
I never feel alone
Far away from all the land
From anything anyone has ever know
In a little place inside my mind
That i can call my own
